Kindergarten Program Details

The Kindergarten program is for children in kindergarten ages 5-6 and has two divisions, Girls and Boys (no co- ed teams, but there are exceptions on boys side). Junior Kindergarten children play in our JK division; first and second graders play in the U8 division. Team rosters have 6-8 players and play 4v4. They practice for 25 minutes and then play 35-40 min games on Saturday mornings in one hour segments. Team creation and player placement is totally dependent on parents volunteering to coach. CJSF will provide a pre-season Coaches Clinic and a Coaching Manual containing a curriculum made up of age appropriate practice activities. All activities are fun games intended to develop players’ basic skills and further each child’s love for the game.  Small sided games with referees are played on Saturday mornings against another team.
