Please register your child through our online registration system Oasys Sports. GRADE LEVEL (1st, 5th etc) determines division assignment, not date of birth or age at registration. Ch Jr will sort all players based on grade level after registration unless we hear from you in advance and it is approved. Players usually play fall and spring seasons in the same division and move up to the next division in the fall, just like school.

If you would like your child to play up/above grade level or play down/below grade level, please email us with your request. For the JK  and K divisions, if your child is approved by CJ to play up (above grade level), a parent must be a coach. We also make few if any exceptions for children born after 7/31/18 for the JK division.

CJ U14 and U18 teams play in the MARS scheduling league, a community wide recreation league. Games are scheduled against other recreation level teams in our area by MARS. The U14 and U18 teams have a Girls and Coed Division. Most coed teams are predominantly or all boys.

Please put down what day or days your child can practice (for U8-U18). Requests (not demands) for up to two (2) friends will be honored if possible.

Note for Club or Classic Players U8-U18: If your child is registered with a Club-either US Club or NCYSA in academy/challenge/ classic- he or she cannot play on a Ch Jr recreation team . They must choose to participate in one or the other. If a player is registered to play club, they are registered for the entire year and cannot play recreation in the off season or same season. Note: there are some exceptions for U18 teams on a case-by-case basis. A player can play on both a CJSF team and a school team. This also applies to guest players-no club players.

NEW USER: Follow the prompts for registering your child starting with "New User" then either "Spring Soccer-Girls" or "Spring Soccer-Boys." Select the appropriate division, based on your child's GRADE LEVEL, and your selection will show up at the bottom of the page. Then proceed by clicking on "Checkout" to complete registration.  Tip:  fill in the required boxes and any coach, friend or practice day requests.

EXISTING USER:  Log in and follow the prompts which will take you to your Dashboard. From there, you can click on Register and then select a player from the drop down menu or click on Family Members and register from that page. Register one child at a time per program. You are able to edit all information (change of address, phone, grade level, school, etc.).

  • SPECIAL REQUESTS/INFORMATION: During the registration process, you will have an opportunity to request specific practice day/days and/or up to two buddies.  If you have a special situation or important information specific to your child that will help us in team placement, please email us directly at  We will work with you to make sure your child is in the right division and team for his/her age and abilities and needs.

REGISTRATION DATES: Spring 2023 registrations will be accepted from JANUARY 1 through FEBRUARY 1 for a fee of $160. Fees include: uniform (socks, shorts, shirt) and trophy/end of season memento (JK-U12); referee fees; field rental, lights and maintenance; team equipment; and minimal administrative fees. The player needs a water bottle and shin guards; cleats are not required but recommended.

Applications received after FEB 1 or above the cap will be placed on a Waitlist and no payment accepted unless and until the child is placed on a team. Team creation and player placement is totally dependent on parents volunteering to coach. Players on the Waitlist will be placed on a space available basis. If your child is withdrawn prior to the official start of the season or a team is disbanded, CJ will issue a full refund. Other refunds will be given on a case-by-case basis.
